I once heard you could have a wildflower heart and a seashell soul. - that’s me!

I’m a Texas girl forever longing for a hiking trail or the beach. That comes out often in my art. For me, art is a means of processing my emotions while holding onto certain memories. I think of my work as a collection of perspectives from my life or often times inspired by memories,  experiences and the beauty of the nature around us.  I try to arrange strokes and colors in a way that feels soulful and emotive, drawing inspiration from my memories of travel, the ocean, a beach, a mountain range and the beautiful nature trails that surround us in the Texas Hill Country. Many of my artworks are a compilation of 2-5 paintings - covered, peeled back, marked and altered before the final painting emerges.
